# Extract boot.img and blobs

how to:
 * clone repo
 ```
 git clone https://github.com/vm03/payload_dumper
 ```
 * goto dir
 * create python venv
 ```
 python3 -m venv .
 ```
 * sourece venv
 ```
 source bin/active
 ```
 * update pip
 ```
 pip install -U pip
 ```
 * install requirements
 ```
 pip install -r requirements.txt
 ```
 * may downgrade protobuf
 ```
  pip install protobuf==3.19.0
 ```
 * get your rom.zip, extract payload.bin
 * well ... extract
 * note, you can abort the process kinda quickly, the boot partition is withing the first 5 partitions getting extracted!
 ```
 python payload_dumper.py payload.bin
 ```
 * have a look at folder `output`
